**Position Title**:Risk Coordinator Aged Care - Quality and Risk
- **Classification**:Dependent on qualifications

**Role Description**
- The role will provide support and expertise in the maintenance of an organisation-wide clinical risk management framework and reporting system with an emphasis on residential aged care. For Further information please refer to the Position Descirption.

- The Quality and Risk team at Bendigo Health has a primary focus of improving patient care and uses an integrative approach involving all areas of Bendigo Health to achieve and maintain continuous quality and risk management. The team is a resource to assist and support managers and clinicians in their patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : Sound knowledge of all relevant accreditation frameworks and expected outcomes, particularly the Aged Care Quality Standards, National Disability Insurance Scheme and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
- Essential : Experience in clinical risk management frameworks and quality improvement projects (preferably in an aged care setting).
- Essential : Expertise in data collection, analysis and report writing
- Essential : Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Essential : Degree in business or health-related science. Post graduate qualifications would be highly regarded
- Desirable : Ability to introduce new concepts through innovation, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
