This role includes supporting people with various disabilities and challenging behaviors.
- Personal Care & Grooming
- Community Access (transport assistance, day programs, shopping assistance etc)
- Social Support
- Light Domestic assistance

What we are looking for
- Will have the ability to commit to ongoing schedules and the flexibility to work various shifts
- Display enthusiasm, empathy, and passion in working providing the best outcomes for our customers to achieve their goals.
- Ability to work both in a team and in a one-on-one environment
- Strong professional boundaries and the ability to follow procedures
- Experience working with people who have a range of behavioural concerns
- Current driver’s license
- Current Provide First Aid certificate, Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Have the skills and knowledge to cook and teach healthy eating

**Must Have**
- Minimum Certificate III in Mental Health; Certificate III or IV in Disability or a tertiary field (Community services, Social Care etc.)
- Experience supporting clients with complex needs and challenging behaviors
- Current NDIS worker screening check (or current Police Check & WWCC)
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Infection Control Certificate

**Salary**: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Work: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
