An opportunity exists for a highly motivated person for the position of Diversional Therapist at Koorooman House - a 36 bed residential facility located in Leongatha. Ideally you will be aware of the current trends in Residential Aged Care and be committed to providing a quality diversional therapy program and ongoing self-development. Previous experience in this field or the intention to undertake relevant studies will be regarded favorably.**About You**
To succeed in this position you will ideally possess the following skills:
- Qualifications and experience in Diversional Therapy or equivalent
- Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A commitment to high quality residential aged care
- Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.-

- Desirable : Certificate IV Leisure & Health or currently enrolled in same.
- Essential : Good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Essential : Good organisational, problem solving & time management skills
- Essential : Good computer & literacy skills.
- Desirable : Experience working in Leisure & Lifestyle role in Residential Aged Care.
- Desirable : Experience in management of behavioral symptoms in Dementia.
