**Mantra Lorne** is located in the coastal town of Lorne, along the Great Ocean Road. Spread across 12 acres of landscaped gardens, the property boasts undeniable beachfront accommodation offering heritage hotel rooms and modern one and two bedroom apartments. The Lardner, on-site restaurant, offers daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, Mantra Lorne proudly houses the largest residential conference venue in regional Victoria, accommodating groups of up to 600 guests for bespoke corporate and private events. There is plenty to do in your down time, from exploring waterfalls, shipwrecks and bushwalking; to having a game of tennis or golf; immersing yourself in art exhibitions and markets; to simply relaxing on the beach enjoying the afternoon sun.

We are seeking an experienced** Assistant Housekeeping Manager** who thrives on the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.

**The Role**:

- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging manner
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Ensure team members are informed daily about priorities to personalise service
- Manage & train a fun and diverse team and assist them to achieve their goals
- Manage costs and productivity
- Run the housekeeping department on the days Executive Housekeeper is not available

**What we are seeking**:

- Service focused personality is essential
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role and supervising team members
- Prior experience working in housekeeping department
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
