Workforce Extensions Geelong are working with a long standing business in the Geelong region who provide quality products to the logistics industry. Due to a recent opening, we are on the look-out for a Maintenance Assistant to work on-site in a **Part-time role**.

This role is mainly to keep woodworking machinery, mobile plant, and associated equipment in good working order. Along with supporting the production staff on machine setups.

General Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance on woodworking and mobile plant following safe operating procedures, including lock our procedures.
- Complete all maintenance checklists as required.
- Be involved in fault finding and rectification in breakdown situations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Welding light fabrication experience
- Pneumatic hydraulic experience
- Forklift license would be advantageous
- Use of hand and power tools
- Seeking individuals with a trade background

This is a casual position which will be ongoing and lead to Permanency for the right person.

Working days/hours are Monday to Friday, **APPROX **4 hours per day within the hours of 6am to 5pm. Additional hours may be required to cover staff absences and any high periods of production.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
