Our client is one of the most well-respected Australian family-owned wine businesses.

They have an impressive portfolio of award-winning premium brands and continue to innovate and build on their exceptional heritage and success.

They are seeking to appoint a talented and highly experienced Cellar Door & Events Manager to join and lead the venue team based in the Barossa.

This is a newly created, hands-on role, which would suit an experienced hospitality professional who has a passion and knowledge for wine,customer service and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work internally with family members, the marketing and executive team as well as tourism bodies, tour operators, and consumers.

Key to your success will be to develop and execute a comprehensive wine brand tourism program that aligns with the company's overall marketing and tourism strategy. You will create and promote a range of wine brand tourism experiences, including vineyard tours,private tastings, VIP events and accommodation experiences in the beautiful Barossa Valley.

**It is essential that you have**:

- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate,inspire and manage people at all levels in a customer service focused environment
- High level wine, tourism and events industry knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in venue management
- Demonstrated experience in event design, planning and delivery
- Strong organisational skills with clear focus on quality and standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- The ability to work after hours on weekends and evenings as

reasonably required.
- Ability to establish and expand industry networks.
