Technical Sales Representative

**Job Title**:Technical Sales Representative - Air Conditioning Industry ($70k to $80k)

We help mechanical consultants and contractors create innovative solutions to reduce overall energy consumption. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be working alongside the Sales Director and a small team of young but highly experienced passionate individuals. You are expected to have at least 5 years of experience in the field of sales with strong technical knowledge in air conditioning and heating industrial products.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with customers
- Build and maintain customer database
- Grow accounts in your assigned territory
- Provide accurate technical information/advice to existing and potential customers
- Prepare quotation, negotiate prices and credit terms, and process orders promptly to meet the customer’s timeline
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during negotiation
- Report to the Director the status of quotes and ongoing projects
- Organise freight of chillers, chiller installation service and commissioning
- Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers
- Prepare monthly sales report for presentation to the Director
- Report status of sales and level of marketability of the chiller units across different industries
- Analyse the internal and external business environment in the HVAC industry including the competitors’ products
- Engage in promotional activities (i.e. trade shows, industry nights) and deliver product presentations

**Skills and Attributes**
- Knowledge in Italian language is an advantage
- Direct experience working with our supplier or exposure in a European company is also an advantage
- High level of customer service and ability to build rapport with people
- Motivated, team-focused, results-driven, and open to feedback
- Well-presented with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Innate ability to sell products supported by sound technical knowledge
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems
- Proficient in MS Office programs
