Our Workforce Planning division oversees the workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and HR systems functions here at AV. A diverse and talented team who are passionate about what they do, the Workforce Planning function sits within the wider People and Culture team.

**About the role**

Ambulance Victoria is currently seeking a suitably experienced leader in the position of **Lead, Workforce Planning.** A critical position within the Workforce Planning division, this position will lead the strategic forecasting of organisational capability and workforce planning.

With an ability to drive change and lead, mentor and develop a team of workforce planning professionals, this position is essential to
- Leading the development of organisational-wide strategic workforce planning strategy and approach including creation, communication, and execution of short-term and long-range workforce plans
- Collaboration with Operations, HR, Recruitment, Organisational Design and Development and Diversity to integrate workforce planning goals that respond to new and emerging strategic issues impacting the operating environment at AV
- Ensuring the policies and processes are integrated into AV's overall workforce planning strategy and cultural change program, and are reflective of best practice models and principles
- Partnering with the organisation and key stakeholders to track and analyse key employment metrics, create current workforce profiles, and implement dashboard and reporting that optimise diversity analytics and workforce planning

**About you**

Suited to highly motivated and strategic individual, the successful applicant will possess
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline or a combination of relevant experience and training
- Significant demonstrated experience in workforce planning and workforce data analysis
- Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and implementation of policy development in a large, complex organisation
- A coaching, mentoring and leadership approach to develop and motivate a team of high performing professionals

The position is graded at AV6. The AV grade salary range for AV6 position is $147,228 - $169,026 plus 10.5% superannuation. Salary on commencement is offered at the base of the AV grade.
