As the Group Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will act as a leader and facilitator and work closely with Senior Management to drive and enhance a positive culture of compliance across the nib Group.
This role will see you engage the business on monitoring, reporting and implementing regulatory changes as well as ongoing Line 1 (Operations/Management) obligations management assistance and Line 2 (Compliance Function) compliance activities.
More specifically, you will:
- Manage, implement, and maintain nib Group regulatory compliance program activities such as regulator notifications, business licensing, compliance registers and controls- Contribute to reporting on compliance performance, regulatory developments and emerging issues and opportunities- Review and provide regulatory compliance advice and approvals for nib Group businesses
Please note, this role is a fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months

To succeed in this role, it is essential you have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for compliance within the financial services or insurance industry. This experience will be complimented by positions of leadership, modelling exceptional communication skills, conflict resolution and influence. You will also have:
- Ability to interpret regulatory obligations and develop appropriate compliance policies, framework, and ongoing monitoring regimes- Sound leadership skills with proven experience in managing a team and/or program of work- Demonstrated experience in dealing with executive level stakeholders- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Highly organised with high attention to detail and forward planning
