**Job Description**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned:
- Lead internal and corporate reviews - Legal, Risk, Tax, Credit, Compliance, and others as needed to ensure sales contract terms are in the best interest of Harsco
- Evaluate each sales contract for business risks and work with relevant functions to recommend solutions to each risk to be approved by Sr. Management
- Ensure all commercial elements of proposal submission adhere to divisional and corporate guidelines and objectives
- Facilitate the internal technical review of specifications and manages the internal costing process
- Prepare a comprehensive list of questions/exceptions to commercial terms and technical specifications.
- Prepare accurate, timely, professional quotations/offers and ensures proper approvals have been followed
- Manage contract revisions with assistance from the Legal department
- Prepare the commercial team for contract negotiations and participates as needed
- Review contract prior to final signature to ensure final product reflects all negotiated points.
- Maintain CRM database ensuring key elements for each deal are captured accurately and in a timely manner for KPI reporting.
- Oversee hand-off of a contract to Project Management and Operation, including all flow-down assignments to purchasing
- Review change order requests from customers or Project Management
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
**Qualifications**:
**Education and Work Experience**:
- A Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of progressive business experience required
- Business degree preferred
- Contract management or negotiation experience preferred
- Government contract and proposal writing experience preferred
- Additional information
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Ability to solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Proficiency using MS Office software, MS SharePoint and other business software required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong organization and project management skills required
- Continuous Improvement knowledge preferred
