**Your new role**

You will be a member of the supervision and management team, with primary focus on supervising the welding activities. You will ensure that all welding parameters defined in the approved weld procedure specifications are adhered to.
**What you'll need to succeed***
- Supervise all welding in Workshop and site activities via leading hands and employees.
- Ensure fabrication activities are conducted within budget and on time.
- Nominating and generating the correct welding procedure.
- Ensure the correct weld procedure and material are used and followed for the job.
- Coach and train trades people.
- Drive productivity and efficiency initiatives in the Workshop.
- Ensure the early identification and reporting of workmanship issues to the appropriate persons.
- Correctly interpret shop drawings and follow job instructions.
- Perform tasks in accordance with Company quality procedures and work instructions.
- Review fit-ups.
- Mentor and provide assistance to shop floor visual inspectors.
- Ensure that the workers comply with safety procedures and legislation.
