About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team at our Gatton home for 40 hours a fortnight. This role would suit someone who is outgoing, friendly and who has compassion.
Regis Gatton is located in the regional hub of Gatton, in the lush Lockyer Valley and is only 30 minutes from Toowoomba. Our welcoming community is close to local shops, cafés and restaurants. As a Regis Reserve Home, we pride ourselves in offering an extra layer of choice and services for our residents who appreciate the little extras.
Additional days may be required to cover leave/Public Holidays.
How you’ll make an impact
Answering all telephone enquiries
Maintain files and documentation
General administration and data entry
Stationery ordering and petty cash management
Assisting with staff rosters and training schedules Ensure efficient operation of the front reception area
Assisting with visitor enquiries and conducting home tours
Administrative support for other departments of the home
About you
Previous experience working in a busy reception role
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity
Strong accuracy and data entry skills
PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
Ability to learn internal software systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding communication, telephone and customer service skills
Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment
Bright and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to assist with all customer and resident enquiries
