**About the Role**:
Our client is a government department currently embarking on a modernisation program to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT solutions through the identification and replacement of legacy components and the reduction of technical duplication, complexity and inefficiency.

They are seeking a **Procurement Advisor** to assist with complex sourcing projects including:

- Strategic analysis and design, business case development,
- Tender preparation, evaluation, and
- supplier negotiation and implementation, in accordance with government and organisational procurement policies and legislative requirements.

And
- Provide advice, guidance and assistance of a very complex and/or sensitive nature on all aspects of procurement and contracts management
- Ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework, including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth) and associated policies and rules.

**You'll need experience in**:

- Development and implementation of complex and strategic procurements in line with the CPR.
- Planning and executing high value and complex commercial negotiations, with strong negotiation skills and the proven ability to assess capability and commercial proposals
- Significant experience in the management and operation of suppliers and supplier contracts.
- Successfully managing risk and delivering value for money procurement results

**Eligibility**:

- Applicants will be required to obtain a Police Check and have the ability to obtain a Baseline AGSVA Clearance.
