**The Role**

We're looking for an experienced and driven **Operations Manager** to lead the day-to-day running of our tree services business. You’ll be the go-to person for scheduling, logistics, quoting, team management, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys leading a team, solving problems, and driving high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Operations & Scheduling**
- Coordinate daily workflows, crew assignments, and job scheduling
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Maintain equipment and resource allocation plans

**Quoting & Job Costing**
- Visit sites, follow up leads, and prepare accurate quotes
- Enter quotes into the system and monitor job profitability
- Proactively reach out for new leads to grow the business client base

**Team Leadership**
- Support and mentor crew members
- Lead weekly team meetings and drive positive culture
- Identify and organise training as needed

**Customer & Quality Focus**
- Uphold high standards of workmanship and service
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business

**Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure all operations meet industry safety standards
- Conduct regular safety checks and lead a safety-first culture

**Reporting & KPIs**
- Track key metrics and prepare weekly performance reports
- Ensure targets for margin, turnaround times, and quality are met

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Operations management: 5 years (required)
- people management: 5 years (preferred)
