Location: Freshwater, Northern Beaches
Reporting: Directly to CEO
This could be your opportunity to expand your skills and have a direct impact in a role that closely supports and guides the CEO and Operations team, to deliver on the Organisations’ goals. Or you may be looking to utilise your established skills and strengths in a local role that can work around school hours.
We are a locally owned and run IT business looking for an adaptable, innovative, productive team member who can add value to the organisation and work independently to get things done. Flexibility and opportunities for personal growth will be provided. Parking right outside the building and only a 5 minute drive to the beach for lunchtime fresh air.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Oversee and manage the out-sourced book-keeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, IAS and BAS
- Identify and manage process improvements across the finance and administration to improve productivity
- Facilitate weekly cash flow meetings
- Provision of Financial reports and monthly finance meetings
- Manage the year end reporting process
- Liaise with suppliers, external accountants and other stakeholders
- ASIC Compliance, and corporate governance
- Process payments as required including batch payments and foreign currency payments,
- Manage and review company Policies and Procedures
- Management of paper and cloud based filing structure
- PA responsibilities to the CEO
**Desirable strengths and skills**:
- 3+ years minimum Bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Accounting degree, masters and/or CA/CPA qualification is desirable
- Experience in Payroll, BAS, IAS, Foreign Currencies, Cash Flow and stock management an advantage
- Experience in the use of Stock management software such as Unleashed Software would be favourable but not a requirement
- Excel spreadsheet skills are required.
- Ability to work on your own as well as within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
