Engage Abilities is a Registered Service Provider of the NDIS. Our team of highly experienced staff aim to provide our clients with quality service that reflects their needs and promotes their dignity, well-being, abilities and independence. We are currently recruiting passionate **Support Workers for the Shellharbour area.**

**The role consists of**:

- Supporting participants with a disability.
- Teaching and helping with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, daily local errands and cleaning.
- Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, support plans and/or administering medication.
- Helping them to access community facilities and be included in community groups.

**Skills and knowledge**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident computing and smart phone app skills.
- Experience in the Community services industry.
- A compassionate approach with a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
- Able to proactively assess risks and solve problems.
- Driver license with full comprehensive car insurance is required.
