Digital Marketing Manager

The Role

We have ambitious targets to keep valuable resources out of oceans and landfills and are looking for an established, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager who can help us increase and sustain participation in Container Deposit Schemes in Australia and abroad.

Your Mission

Build a digital marketing Centre of Excellence with specialised knowledge in recycling schemes and key capabilities in customer experience, marketing automation, and loyalty programs.

You’ll work in partnership with our Scheme Partners to define a cohesive digital marketing strategy.

You’ll manage and grow a small team of marketing SMEs and external agencies to consistently deliver effective campaigns and identify creative ways to build our brand and retain our customers.

You’ll partner closely with Product Managers to continuously improve our MarTech ecosystem in a way that is scalable and efficient.

You’ll coach your team to become the authority on our audience and help the business to better understand what drives people to recycle as an enduring habit.

You’ll help us build out our enterprise marketing automation capabilities. A key success factor of this role will be the ability to lead your team to bring the digital strategy to life via the marketing automation channel.

You’ll work within an integrated brand and marketing team that consistently executes integrated programs of work at a high quality.

Key responsibilities

Lead your team to own our Marketing Automation channel via data investigation, customer profile analysis and segmentation; ensuring campaigns are designed and optimised for trackable conversions.
Manage the daily output of your team as you drive the acquisition, engagement, and retention of our customers and members.
Work as part of an integrated brand and marketing team to design and build highly creative campaigns and experiences.
Build marketing processes that can scale with our business and ensure every recycling partner receives exceptional service.
Build out and improve performance metrics and collaborate with Data Product Owners to produce meaningful marketing KPI reporting and deliver cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights.
Use exceptional data storytelling to communicate findings and make recommendations to stakeholders across our business and externally to our partners.

About you

Digital Marketing as a service experience in an agency or consultancy is highly regarded
Experience working with senior stakeholders or clients is a must
Well-developed project planning and project management skills, particularly in costing projects, co-ordinating resources and services from a variety of internal and external functions, and successfully delivering against budget
Impeccable oral and written communication skills
Competence working in the Agile method preferred
Experience with marketing automation tools such as Braze or HubSpot. Experience with loyalty martech solutions is a bonus

**Great to have**: A good level of exposure to Drupal or Strapi. Experience with PowerBI.
