WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER

Reports directly to: Warehouse Supervisor for Day-to-Day Tasks

Job Description: This is a new role, and the successful applicant will become part of the warehouse Leadership Team. Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor in assisting and co-ordinating the staff within the warehouse. You will lead by example and have a good work ethic. You will have a strong culture in Safety and the safety of your team will be paramount. The Team Leader will assist and coordinate the planning and execution of activities on the floor. The Team Leader will have a hands-on approach and be part of the team. Facilitate and inspire staff to be motivated and productive.

The key responsibilities and preferred skill set for the role are: - A solid understanding of warehouse practices including - receipting, replenishment, pick/pack, and despatch. ▪ Familiar with RF scanning requirements. ▪ Familiar with achieving KPI and target setting and reviewing results. ▪ Effective communicator. ▪ Ability to use Microsoft Office - Word and Excel. ▪ Ability to identify workflow issues and address accordingly. ▪ Forklift licence or LO licence Preferred but not essential is: - ▪ Exposure to Manhattan / Scale systems or similar. ▪ Familiar with ISO Accreditation 9001. ▪ The key purpose of this role is to directly support the Warehouse Operations Supervisor in a busy warehouse facility. ▪ A hands-on and lead by example approach is required, along with excellent time management.

**Other Responsibilities** ▪ Follow OHS processes and procedures ▪ Warehouse housekeeping ▪ Conducting all activities in accordance with our Integrated Management System and processes ▪ Workflow Control (ILS release of orders and label allocation) Key Competencies ▪ Ability to work with mínimal supervision ▪ Follow instructions from Supervisor and Warehouse Manager ▪ Teamwork to deliver high levels of customer service ▪ Communicate well with other key stakeholders ▪ Works well within a team environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
