Big Ant Studios are looking for a highly talented and motivated** Junior QA** to play a key role in the studio.

Join us in making some of consoles and PCs biggest sports titles from our centrally located **Melbourne** studio.

Quality assurance (QA) testers play a critical role in delivering high-quality, functioning games to customers. They test and evaluate new and existing scenarios to identify and help remove bugs, glitches, and other user experience issues.

The core areas of focus for this role are:

- Follow Big Ant QA processes, provide embedded support to the development team & set the highest standards in testing to support the requirements of multiple ongoing projects.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the mechanics and rules of sports titles being created.
- Methodically recreate bugs and provide accurate information to assist with fixing problems.
- Communicate well to all levels of staff within the Big Ant team, both verbally & via effective high-quality bug reports.
- Regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure that all tasks are carried out efficiently & all instructions are followed accurately and methodically.
- Provide feedback, suggestions, and improvements to assist with the overall design of the game.
- Provide assistance where required to the Senior QA, Producer, and Development Director.
- Quality and functionality evaluation of pre-release, public beta release, and pre-tech versions of software.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for someone with:

- *’A passion for Sports and sports games.’*
- Ability to expand on knowledge and understanding of sports.
- Acknowledging and detailing differences between each sport - as an example - the differences between Rugby League and Rugby Union.
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the current project.
- Passionate about quality and understanding the importance of QA within the development process.
- Attention to detail is also vital.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Friendly and approachable.
- Computer literate: strong ability to pick up and adapt to new software quickly.
- Applicants must be self-motivated, responsible, and versatile.
- A passion for gaming and expertise in gameplay in various game genres, both online and offline.

With extra consideration given to:

- Ability to understand and write basic code using C++, LUA, and some minor amounts of C#. As well as Python, Batch, and any scripting language.
