Leading Asphalt Company Seeking Lab Technicians

**Your new company**
Our client is a national concrete and asphalt specialist, renowned for their service, expertise, and dedication to sustainability. They hire on personality as well as skill set - if you want to grow and learn, this is the job for you. Due to expansion in the Gepps Cross team, our client is looking for two technicians, one working predominately in the field, and one predominately in the lab.

**Your new role**
As a technician, you’ll be testing asphalt either out on site, or in the lab. You’ll be responsible for quality assurance in line with NATA requirements, and communicating results to production teams. Some previous lab experience is a must, but our client is very happy to train further. When you’re on site, you’ll also be the face of the business, so you’ll be personable and have the gift of the gab. While there’s no excessive lifting, it is a physical job, so having a base-line fitness is a must. While you’ll often work with others, you’ll need to be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- White Card
- Approved signatory for Asphalt NATA accreditation will be highly regarded
- Minimum 2 years relevant construction materials testing is required
- A Certificate IV as a minimum in Laboratory Techniques
- Mechanical or engineering aptitude
- Great attitude and ability to fit into any team
- Desire to learn new skills
- Available for days, nights and Saturdays in a balanced roster to cater to holidays and family/social requirements
