Our Client is the market leader in Structural Solar, a transformative solar integration technology that transforms objects into solar collectors. Praxis Labs was founded in 2016 as a startup and now has growing traction across Air, Land and Ocean domains for Commercial and Defence customers globally. The company is gradually expanding to meet its growing market traction and seeks new employees able to be trained in the specifics of a unique and innovative technology.

We are looking for a solderer and composite technician to assist with the production of composite solar modules and components. The role is contract dependent and the employee will report directly to the Director of Innovation and Manufacturing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hand soldering individual PV cells into strings and modules
- Testing cell, string and completed module performance
- Material handling and cutting dry composite materials
- Assembling solar dry fibre ‘bundles' (dry composite materials and solar cells)
- Preparation of equipment/materials related to Praxis Lab's proprietary process.
- Assisting with Praxis Lab's proprietary solar process
- No formal qualifications are required, training will be provided on the job, however experience with composite construction (fibreglass/carbon fibre) or electronics would be beneficial.
- Physical ability to handle materials and moulds
- Ability to be trained in soldering electrical components
- Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions
- Conscientious and safety aware
- Ability to work well with a team
- High attention to detail is critical
- A ‘can-do' attitude is critical
- Generalist practical manual skills would be viewed favourably
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Own transport (the Praxis facility is not near public transport options)
