Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. **About the role**:
The engine room of our business, our Store Customer Platforms keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.
The Store Customer Platform is accountable for all customer facing technology solutions within Coles Supermarkets. Primary systems in the Platform's portfolio include the Point of Sale, Assisted Checkout, In Store Scales and Ticketing.
You will play a crucial role in our ticketing uplift project and will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and highly available solutions that meet the needs of our organization and our clients and are future proof. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse, troubleshoot, and optimize our IT operations and provide recommendations for improvements.
As a Technical Analyst, you will be utilising your technical skills & experience in both SQL and development (C#, PowerShell, etc.) to drive incident rates down and automate/self-heal issues.

A key requirement in this role is strong knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, Visual Basics and PowerShell scripting, as well as experience with C#.
**About you and your skills**
- Analysed and troubleshooted technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience developing and maintaining SQL queries, complex stored procedures, and scripts for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
- Performed system monitoring and performance tuning, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
- Conducted system analysis and recommended improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security.
- IT Retail industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Technical Analyst or similar.
- Strong expertise in SQL database management, including querying, optimization, and performance tuning.
