The UGL heavy maintenance facility based in Bassendean are currently seeking an experienced
**Electrical**
**Locomotive Technician **to join the team. This position will be a permanent full time opportunities working on a Dayshift

**About the Role**
- Servicing and maintenance of locomotives and other Rolling Stock
- Removal and installation of large heavy components from Rolling Stock

**About You**
- Relevant Trade Qualification - Electrical
- Valid WA Electrical Licence
- Heavy manufacturing experience, ideally previous experience within the rail industry.
- Experience working on locomotives or rollingstock.
- Experience and competent in the use of gantry cranes up to 50t
- Previous experience within a large workshop or heavy maintenance environment.
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work well in a team environment

**Desired but not essential**
- Switchboard wiring experience.
- Experience with the installation & wiring of radio based train control systems
- Installation experience of various wires and electronics.
- Bogie overhaul experience
