**About the role**:
In this role you’ll proactively assist the AVP Manager and AVP Supervisor to process and manage the workflow and completion of all Agency transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, and provide support and assistance in processing any Securitisation transactions when required
**What you’ll be doing**:
**Agency**:
- Ensure that Agency loan drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, bank guarantees and fee invoicing & collections are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes in LIQ, and all critical checklists are followed and completed in accordance with the bank’s unit procedure, user manuals, operational guidelines, and approved credit lines, completed without error.
- Establish new Agency clients in the core system (LIQ) in accordance with signed agreements.
- Ensure that loan prework for Agency transactions are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes, and critical Treasury cash sheet is up to date and completed.
- Identify possible areas for process improvement and engage with team members, other staff, and managers to contribute to building more effective processes that eliminate risk, foster an environment where all staff can contribute by maintaining a collaborative work environment.
- Report and escalate operational risk events
- Ensure all reports and general ledger suspense and interest accrual accounts are prepared, actioned, monitored and that all outstanding items are being investigated, followed up and cleared within a timely manner
- Preparation of monthly suspense account reconciliations for Accounting Dept
- Flexible to work back on busy days (middle and month end)
**Securitisation**:
- Assist / support in the preparation of and/or, prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the receivables and other Securitisation products when required.
- Undertake general processing duties like Agency transactions including the initiation of loan rollovers, repayments and charging of fees for the various trusts.
**What we are looking for**:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has 1-2 years’ experience working in a related Operations role within banking and financial services. LIQ system experience is desirable but not essential.
You’ll have excellent time management and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the team performs at a high-performance standard. You’ll deliver extraordinary customer experiences, collaborate and build partnerships, communicate effectively and professionally, drive for results, lead change and seek continuous improvements, and think strategically.
Training and guidance will be provided.
You’ll likely have a Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
