Web Administrator

We’re currently seeking a talented Web Administrator to support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of our web systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Web Administrator, you will:

- Manage and maintain company websites and web systems, ensuring uptime, security, and performance.
- Monitor website performance, accessibility, SEO, and user experience.
- Administer hosting environments, domain management, DNS records, and web server configurations.
- Ensure regular backups, implement security protocols, and maintain data integrity.
- Manage and update website content using WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Support minor web development tasks using React, Node.js, and Firebase where required.
- Collaborate with designers using Figma or Adobe XD to bring UI/UX concepts to life.
- Deploy web platforms to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Conduct regular QA testing and website audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to hosting, domains, DNS, or web servers.

**Skills and Experience**

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a web administrator or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern frameworks such as React and Node.js.
- Experience with cPanel, FTP, DNS management, and server administration.
- Familiarity with Firebase, Firestore, and API integrations.
- Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance optimisation.
- Ability to problem-solve and work autonomously within a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.

**Desirable (Not Essential)**
- Experience with PHP, MySQL, and basic scripting for website maintenance.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms or CRM integrations.
