About the Role:
As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, you’ll support separated families in reaching parenting and property agreements through tailored mediation approaches—including child-inclusive practice, lawyer-assisted mediation, and online mediation. You’ll play a vital role in helping families move forward with dignity and clarity.
This is a permanent part time role, 3 days per week, based in Parramatta.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver high-quality family dispute resolution services
- Use flexible mediation models suited to each family’s needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including child safety and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate client records and contribute to service excellence
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in law, behavioural sciences, or equivalent
- Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner
- Experience in counselling or mediation with families and children
- Strong understanding of family and domestic violence dynamics
- NSW Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check
- A collaborative, compassionate approach to your work
