**About the role**

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As our new Portfolio Manager - Socially Conscious Balanced option, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we invest responsibly while delivering strong returns. In this newly created permanent role, you’ll take the lead on managing our sustainable investment option, ensuring it meets performance benchmarks and aligns with our values. You’ll work closely with our Investment Strategy and asset class teams to refine our approach and uncover new opportunities in the sustainable investment space.

Day to day, you'll:

- Lead portfolio construction and day-to-day management of our Sustainable Investment option across asset classes.
- Partner with asset class teams to analyse investment managers and identify new opportunities.
- Maintain Responsible Investment certification and reporting standards.
- Prepare investment recommendations for our management committee.
- Manage our biannual exclusions process.
- Contribute thought leadership in sustainable investing.
- Collaborate with senior investment managers and cross-functional teams to drive member-focused outcomes.

This role is available as a **permanent** opportunity.

**Location**: Sydney or Brisbane.

**About you**

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have prior experience—or a strong desire—to work at the intersection of sustainability and investment.
- You bring experience in investment management, particularly within superannuation, institutional funds, or asset management.
- You understand portfolio construction and know how to select the right fund managers.
- You’re confident collaborating and managing stakeholders across investment, legal, compliance, and product teams.
- You communicate with clarity and impact, presenting product strategies and performance to senior executives and committees.
- You’ll manage competing priorities while staying focused and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
- Your qualifications are grounded in finance, commerce, engineering, economics, or a related field.
