Kitchen Hand

We are on the hunt for a full-time Kitchenhand to join our buzzing factory bakery based in O’Connor;
- An exciting opportunity to join our vibrant food business where we are all passionate about the food we produce and sell;
- You must be available to work Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Big Loaf Factory Bakery is the heart of our food business, producing freshly baked artisan breads, cakes, and other homestyle bakery goods, including our famous cinnamon scrolls. We are passionate about quality food and source all our ingredients from local producers. The fresh products we create on site are supplied to our 4 stores across Perth (Big Loaf Factory Bakery Shop, North Street Store, Little Loaf Bakery and Peoples Cafeteria), as well as a select wholesale customer base.

This role will be reporting to our Head Baker and will work to ensure all of our ingredients are organised, prepared and ready to work with by our baking team. In addition, you will be assisting in keeping our bakery area clean while also assisting, where needed, in our baking production. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a large scale bakery and observe first-hand how we operate.

- Professional kitchen hand experience will be favoured, but not required;
- You are reliable and enjoy coming to work everyday;
- You have a passion for food and are keen to learn about the art of baking;
- You are able to do manual work for an extended period.

**What will you be doing?**
- Arranging, organising and preparing ingredients for our baking team;
- Cleaning dishes and cooking equipment;
- Assisting when needed in the preparation of baking products.
