Let’s talk about this role

As the Group Manager Travel Claims, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery and operational management of global Claims servicing for Travel Claims within the nib Group. This role is integral to both the Business Services Division and nib Travel.

Providing direct oversight and responsibility for Claims servicing and Management, this role is listed as the Responsible Manager for Claims Servicing and is integral to nib Travel’s AFSL under Claims as a Financial Service.

With an aim to differentiate nib Group’s customer experience through a digital first strategy, the Group Manager Travel Claims will provide the leadership required in delivering to key metrics and performance targets, as well as being a key stakeholder in supporting external Underwriters, giving them confidence in nib’s ability to manage and control a portfolio of claims on their behalf.

You will have proven experience developing and delivering strategic programs of work with a focus on digital transformation, automation and workforce optimisation, while maintaining a highly engaged team in a hybrid/flexible work environment.

Furthermore you have:
- Desirable to hold Diploma in General Insurance, be Tier 2 RG146 trained and have previously held Responsible Manager qualification.- Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to deliver consistent performance to targets- Very strong knowledge of General Insurance and Travel Insurance Industry- Demonstrated ability to balance commercial, business/team and customer considerations- Strong Change management and transformation experience
