Mitolo Family Farms are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their Taylor’s Road Maintenance Team.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be a forward thinker with the passion to drive change to manage all aspects of reliability and maintenance of our large-scale packing lines. You will be an experienced and trusted manager that is aligned to our mission and share our passion for continuous improvement. You will have the proven capability and experience for strong leadership to improve plant and equipment reliability that is associated with production operations. This challenging role is a crucial part of the site’s Management Team and must work effectively and in liaison with the site's Production Department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing a team of skilled employees and contractors, motivating them to achieve world class reliability
- Engaging and educating your team, driving growth and helping them improve their problem-solving skills
- Providing leadership to ensure that the site meets all WHS requirements
- Ensuring the plant operates to forecasted run speeds
- Providing breakdown maintenance troubleshooting and support
- Implementing preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance schedules
- Ensure maintenance planning processes for routine and shutdown work
- Maintaining appropriate stores / spares
- Reviewing equipment failures and implementing improvements
- Manage the reliability budgets

**About you**:

- Qualified Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Reliability Manager
- Hands on experience in maintaining a production plant
- Demonstrated technical background in reliability continuous improvement
- A proven track record in driving manufacturing excellence, change management and performance
- Expertise in leading functional teams to resolve plant issues, breakdowns, process inefficiencies
- A proven background in managing multiple trade maintenance employees
- The ability to gain, develop and harness trust and buy-in from all site employees and stakeholders by engaging in collaborative and transparent communication

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work through change, drive continuous improvement initiatives and have exceptional communication and leadership skills.
