**Department for Environment and Water** **Job reference**: 645479 **Location**: 5000 - ADELAIDE **Job status**: Ongoing **Eligibility**: Open to Everyone **About the Role**: The Ecologist, Threatened Species Assessments provides applied ecological, technical, policy and project support to the Threatened Species and Ecological Communities Team, with a primary focus on species assessment and listing matters. The Ecologist is responsible for sourcing, analysing and preparing information relating to the status, ecology, threats and management of threatened species and ecological communities. The incumbent will also support and develop processes, procedures, conservation strategies, briefings, project plans, policy advice, stakeholder engagement, and communications materials. They will develop and maintain strong networks with a diverse range of stakeholders to facilitate quality information sharing and improved outcomes.
