**About Us**:
The monitoring and reporting team provides the following key services:

- The use of SCOM and Dynatrace provides monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Configured alerts and various system thresholds
- Enhance reporting capabilities using PowerBI and Dynatrace.

**Your Role**:
Provide technical expertise to the department's ICT systems, including specifically:

- SCOM administration: This role entails performing a multitude of administrative tasks, such as configuring alerts and system thresholds, maintaining monitoring and notification rules, and performing various reporting tasks based on the team's or stakeholder's requirements.
- Gather the monitoring and event dashboard requirements, including data sources, design layout, and targeted audience information, from a cross-section of customers and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to clients in order to facilitate monitoring tool use, such as frequent health checks, patches, and updates to monitoring tools.
- Create a comprehensive technical training package for the reporting and monitoring teams, provide training to colleagues, and prepare monitoring requirement documentation for customers.
- capacity assessments, identifying and analysing opportunities for expansion or upgrade

- Offering advice and support to the departmental staff.

- Managing vulnerabilities and cyber security of ICT assets

- Contribute to business improvement management, including identifying improvements, implementing changes, fostering innovation, and collaborating with teams to drive positive outcomes.
- Prior experience managing monitoring platforms such as SCOM, Azure monitoring and Dynatrace
- Prior experience developing PowerBI reports and dashboards
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Basic SQL, PowerShell) for automation and database management tasks
- Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and data analytics to provide actionable insights and enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
