Currently we are seeking highly motivated and qualified **Assistant Nurses **to work our **night** **shift** (**10:30pm - 7:00am**).

**Offering **$1000 sign-on incentive **(1st $500 instalment 90 days after signing your employment contract, 2nd instalment of $500 after 180 days) - must commit to a certain number of shifts per fortnight**

If you have completed a Certificate III in Aged Care orif you are currently studying a qualification in Nursing, we encourage you to apply
- Have completed Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in aged care nursing
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles
- Have sound written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Be proactive, flexible and willing to show initiative
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to accept direction
- Ideally have experience working in the Aged Care sector
- Be willing to learn and commit to ongoing professional development
- Have a basic knowledge of computers
- Have their own transport or live locally

**Duties of the position**:

- Assist residents with their daily care needs including showering, dressing and meals
- Ensure each residents dignity, privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Ensure safe use of equipment to assist residents with limited mobility
- Ensure delivery of quality care to each resident as specified on their individual care plan
- Demonstrate an awareness of the physical, social and emotional needs of each resident
- Noting and reporting changes in physical, behavioural or emotional wellbeing of each resident to the registered nurse, in a timely manner
