**About Mimosa Care**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Support Worker to join our team, specifically to accompany a NDIS participant for community access.

As a Support Worker at Mimosa Care, you will play a crucial role in assisting and empowering our participants to lead fulfilling lives. You will work closely with individuals with diverse needs, providing practical assistance and emotional support. Your dedication and compassion will significantly impact the lives of those we serve.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist participants in accessing community resources and services.
- Develop personalized support plans tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the community.
- Assist with transportation and mobility needs
- Collaborate with local organizations and service providers to enhance accessibility.

**Qualifications**:

- Cert III/IV in Disability or equivalent.
- NDIS Screening Check
- NDIS Induction Module
- NDIS Orientation Module
- Previous experience in a support worker role or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives.
- Ability to adapt to various participant needs and preferences.
- First Aid and CPR

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour
