Claims Coordinator

**About the Role**
Be part of a values-driven organisation that support and provide claims support towards the success of workers’ compensation and injury claims/rehabilitation case management.

**Key activities**:

- Provide accurate, timely and efficient support to the Senior Claims Advisers with the management of workers’ compensation claims.
- May be required to manage an end-to-end claims portfolio from time to time, under the governance of specific guidelines and procedures.
- Interpret relevant legislation and provide advice to claimants and other stakeholders regarding entitlement of workers’ compensation.
- Assist Self Insurance with administrative duties required for successful claims management and rehabilitation programs.
- Ensure the claims management data system is maintained in a timely and correct manner and assist in the reporting and analysis of data.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient claims management and rehabilitation case management.
- Provide document management support services including filing, shredding, document compilation and mail outs.
- Undertake other duties and tasks as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- End-to-end claims and rehabilitation case management experience.
- Ability to deliver high quality administrative and support services in a customer focused environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build constructive and effective relationships to negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint).
