Mattel Australia & New Zealand are seeking a driven and proactive Licensing Associate to join our Consumer Products team in a fast paced role where no two days are the same In this role you will assist the team in achieving business objectives and marketing/sales goals through day-to-day management of external and internal partners, marketing activations, financial forecasting/reporting, and contract/event management.

This role is on an initial fixed term contract for 6 - 12 months with a view to go permanent.

**As a Licensing Associate your impact will be seen by**:

- Managing day-to-day business with licensees including the negotiation and monitoring of contracts; coordinating the reporting process of licensees; collaborating with licensees to resolve distribution, product development and product performance issues; and more
- Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities through research and analysis of trends and market opportunities
- Identifying new product development opportunities and managing all facets of local product development including concept development, legal/corporate approvals, pre-production, packaging and finished product approval
- Providing general administrative assistance to the Consumer Products team as required
- Marketing/Business degree or other relevant tertiary qualification
- Ideally 3 - 5 years’ relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the Australian retail environment with particular reference to the licensing industry
- Marketing and/or licensing/brand experience
- Strong planning and analytical skills with good numeric ability
