About the opportunity- Undertake supported Graduate Diploma in Critical Care (Adult Intensive Care) 2026 Intake.- Be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team providing exceptional patient focused care.- Flexible working options to accommodate university, home and work-life balance.

The Graduate Certificate in Critical Care is an employment model with paid study leave that will see you providing direct patient care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit with a wide range of conditions.

It includes a transition to ICU (November - January) with the course Undertaken over 1 year, for the 2026 academic intake. A recruitment process for ongoing employment will be undertaken post successful completion of the course.

You will find yourself learning through a variety of modalities - bedside teaching, weekly tutorials, and dedicated study days. An extensive clinical practice portfolio will support your learning as well as periods of supernumerary time as you progress as an Intensive Care Nurse. You will enrol into the post graduate certificate of Critical Care Nursing course at our partner University, with the option of either exiting after the first year with a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care, or supportive continuation to advance to study for the Diploma and Masters.

- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
