At Nearmap, our Mid Market Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with a diverse range of small to medium customers and prospects in the mid market sector. They're also responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned account objectives.
Representing the entire range of our services to our customers and target prospects, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met. This includes face-to-face meetings, attending conferences, conducting product demonstrations as well as account planning, forecasting and effectively managing pipeline in the database.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within your assigned customer accounts.
- Understand customer needs, identify growth opportunities, and proactively upsell and cross-sell Nearmap's products and services.
- Work closely with internal teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver on customer commitments.
- Monitor customer usage, engagement, and satisfaction to proactively identify and address any potential areas of concern.
- Building and maintaining healthy relationships with the Account Management team, New Business team, CSM team, Product team, Marketing team, BDR, Sales operations, Finance and Legal.
**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated strong years of full cycle sales experience, with BDM/Account Management Sales in SaaS.
- Training or knowledge of popular sales methodologies, including; MEDDIC, SPIN, Sandler, BANT viewed favourably
- Experience managing approximately 200 accounts with a mixture of existing customers and new prospects.
- Results driven sales representative with consistent achievement of year over year quota attainment in new revenue.
- High energy, motivation and a results attitude to drive sales growth
- Experience in achieving results within a matrix-management environment
- Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
