As an OOSH Educator at St Nicholas, you will deliver engaging, age-appropriate experiences and build supportive relationships with children and families. We are currently seeking OOSH Educators and Assistants to join our well-established services across the Newcastle, Maitland and Hunter locations.These opportunities will be offered on a casual basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.

**Description**:
The Role
As an OOSH Educator or Assistant, you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality childhood education and care to children. This includes:

- Developing strong relationships with children at St Nicholas
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families
- Implementing the policies and associated procedures of St Nicholas at all times and
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of St Nicholas

**Skills and Experiences**:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Tech-Savvy Storyteller: Confident using digital tools to document learning journeys and celebrate children’s growth.
- Positive Energy: You bring a fun, professional, and reliable attitude to everything you do.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Educators - An approved Certificate III or Certificate IV in School Age Education level qualification for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (Desirable)
- Child protection qualification. (Desirable)
