**Kitchen Attendant**

**About us**:
Located in Upper Mount Gravatt, Club Southside is a popular sports and community club that provides a unique facility for members and guests with a primary focus on contributing to the local community.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Kitchen Attendants to join our busy Club.

To be successful you must be willing to work days, nights and weekends, and have a "can do attitude".

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a clean and safe workplace is maintained; kitchen, store areas, kitchen utensils and equipment
- Operate a commercial dishwasher
- Store equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware
- Support the kitchen team in preparation of ingredients
- Ensure rubbish is disposed of from all kitchen areas each shift
- Follow all procedures to ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are met
- Work safely with chemicals and equipment
- Receive goods and store as required
- Report any faulty or broken equipment to the Chef or manager on duty
- Ensure all utensils that will be required for service are at the servery
- All plates and utensils are clean and cutlery has been cleaned and replenished
- That kitchen staff have the necessary equipment in which to undertake their duties
- The washout area is left clean with all equipment turned off as required
- Floors have been swept and mopped
- Any other suitable tasks that Chef in charge might request.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.13 - $36.15 per hour
