**About the role**:

- 36 openings for full-time position
- $32.69 per hour + Super + on-time weekly payment
- Shift work: 7am-2:30pm and 3pm-10:30pm with 30 min lunch break
- Learn and gain exposure from NSW State
- Jobs are in urban locations and close to public transport: Elizabeth St location
- Easy to fill timesheet, on-time weekly payment, and option for Real-Time Remuneration

**As a Batching Officer this Election**, you will be tasked with:

- Accurately checking and counting ballot papers received from the Returning Officer's office
- Accurate sorting ballot papers into various categories for either data entry or non-data entry (bulk entry)
- Batching of ballot papers for data entry
- This role may require lifting

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work within established routines and guidelines;
- Carries out their assigned duties under general direction;
- The ability to communicate, written and verbally, clearly and effectively with all levels of internal staff; and
- May be required to check the work or provide guidance to other employees at a lower level or provide assistance to less experienced employees at the same level.

You can work as an entry level Data Entry Officer without formal qualifications, however, a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course in administration, secretarial or clerical studies may be useful.
