**Salary range $149,686 - $202,422 plus super - this role is preferably based in Hobart, Tas.**

**What will you bring?**

You have tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Your experience also includes:

- Comprehensive expertise with ESG frameworks, climate risk and sustainability reporting standards
- Strong relationship building skills with abilities to engage and influence diverse stakeholders as a trusted advisor and expert
- Engaged and proactive mindset with a focus on and record of action and implementation of key strategic programs or initiatives
- Strong and engaging communication skills with a collaborative approach
- A whole-of-business perspective with the ability to understand the “why” as well as the “what”
- Ability to use skills and experience to drive change

To put it simply, in this newly created role, you will have the opportunity lead and embed sustainability in the future of our organisation, for Hydro Tasmanian employees and the Tasmanian community. Within this role, building on the strong foundations and long history of sustainability, you will deliver actionable insights on challenges, opportunities and strategic alignment and coordinate the programs, initiatives and projects across the business to support the achievement of Hydro Tasmania’s sustainability objectives. This is a unique opportunity to unlock the power of sustainability and contribute to Hydro Tasmania’s future

As a Manage Sustainability (ESG) at Hydro Tasmania, you will
- Develop and lead sustainability strategy aligned with Hydro Tasmania’s energy transition goals, corporate vision and strategy and global sustainability trends
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with executives, regulators, customers, and other key stakeholders
- Be a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, delivering actionable insights on sustainability risks, opportunities and strategic alignment
- Position Hydro Tasmania as an industry leader in sustainability through representing the company at forums, engagements and policy discussions
- Drive integration of sustainability initiatives to ensure measurable impact and comprehensive performance disclosure
