Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Professional to join our team. As a key role in the TasWater CDO Alliance Project, you will be responsible for implementing and improving all sustainability activities and obligations.

  • Develop and implement the project's sustainability management system, including the Sustainability Management Plan.
  • Implement actions, procedures, and tools to support the project in achieving required sustainability outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance indicators, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to project teams on sustainability requirements and outcomes aligned with project requirements.
  • Assist in delivering Design and As Built Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) ratings.
  • Undertake ongoing evaluation and enhancement of the project's sustainability performance.

Working Relationships

  • Collaborate with construction teams on sustainability management requirements to ensure that we meet our obligations and improve performance.
  • Communicate key sustainability information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the construction industry, including 1 year in a similar role.
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or related disciplines.
  • A strong understanding of sustainable construction principles.
