Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Professional to join our team. As a key role in the TasWater CDO Alliance Project, you will be responsible for implementing and improving all sustainability activities and obligations.
- Develop and implement the project's sustainability management system, including the Sustainability Management Plan.
- Implement actions, procedures, and tools to support the project in achieving required sustainability outcomes.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance indicators, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to project teams on sustainability requirements and outcomes aligned with project requirements.
- Assist in delivering Design and As Built Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) ratings.
- Undertake ongoing evaluation and enhancement of the project's sustainability performance.
Working Relationships
- Collaborate with construction teams on sustainability management requirements to ensure that we meet our obligations and improve performance.
- Communicate key sustainability information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the construction industry, including 1 year in a similar role.
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or related disciplines.
- A strong understanding of sustainable construction principles.
