Optical Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person to join our team as a Casual Optical Assistant across both locations. This role has the opportunity to grow to full time role. Enjoy a diverse role with direct customer contact and excellent salary and benefits.

**Description**:
**Key Accountability Areas & Related Responsibilities**:

- Be able to communicate clearly with patients and visitors in a bright, friendly manner and promptly attend to their needs
- Provide your expertise to help patients choose frames that not only meet their needs/desires, but also look great
- Maintain a tidy practice environment to ensure a positive overall patient experience
- Provide friendly and efficient telephone reception service.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About you
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Cert IV dispensing qualification desired but not essential
- Passion to help others
- Must be available Monday, Wednesday and Fridays
- A genuine love of optometry and making people’s lives better
