**About The Role**:
Our maintenance department is critical to our operations at our Tullamarine Plant.

Working on our afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 2.00pm to 10.00pm), our maintenance fitters provide shift coverage for production and attend breakdowns, complete repairs and perform general maintenance.

This is an all-rounder role and we’re looking for someone who can work as a team and roll their sleeves up to make a real difference to our site.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:
The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Working in a safe manner, as our team’s safety is our priority. We need everybody in our facility to adhere to health and safety rules and regulations.
- Completing maintenance repairs, including routine maintenance, testing and calibration on production equipment.
- Carrying out modification and new installation works on production equipment.
- Performing machining and welding as required.
- Work with the production team to support and assist them.
- Working with the supervisor regarding production, environment and health and safety. By keeping them informed, you will be critical in us maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Adhering to Engineering ISO9002 Quality Assurance system and Food Environmental Policy requirements.
- General adherence to all Sealed Air policies and procedures.

**About The Person**:
To be successful in this role, the successful applicant will have the following characteristics:

- Be a fully qualified fitter with sound maintenance experience.
- Ideally, experience with extrusion, thermoforming or injection moulding would be an advantage.
- Exposure to pneumatics and hydraulics would also be an advantage
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
- Have good fault finding and communication skills.
- Able to work with a focus on Health, Safety and Quality.
- Have a good understanding in Lean & TPM.
