Grange Road Kindergarten is a committee-managed community kindergarten, situated in Bayside Sandringham. **Description**

**4-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher & Educational Leader (VECTEA 2020)**
**Location**: Grange Road Kindergarten
**Commencing**: 2026

Grange Road Kindergarten is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader to join our team, leading our 4-year-old Blue Group in 2026.

In 2026, Blue Group sessions will run on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30am-4:00pm (15 hours per week). The combined Teacher/Educational Leader role attracts a total of 31.5 hours per week under the VECTEA 2020 agreement.

We are looking for a dedicated educator who fosters a happy, relaxed, and inclusive environment where every child is valued as an individual and inspired to learn through play.

**Key Responsibilities**

As the Teacher and Educational Leader, you will demonstrate a high level of understanding and leadership in relation to:

- The National Quality Standard (NQS)
- The Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF and VEYLDF)
- School Readiness Funding initiatives
- Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Child Safe Standards

In this role, you will:

- Collaborate with educators to provide curriculum direction and guidance.
- Support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices.
- Lead the development and implementation of an engaging, high-quality educational program.
- Facilitate and lead monthly staff meetings.
- Ensure children’s learning and development are guided by the approved learning frameworks.
- Build the knowledge and confidence of educators and families around play-based learning and the importance of the early years.
- Foster a culture of professional inquiry, reflection, and continuous improvement across the team.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (ACEQA recognised).
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of educators.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- Demonstrated Experience in both Teaching (Kindergarten) and Educational Leader roles is required.

**Qualifications**

**ACECQA approved early childhood education and care qualification.** Experience as a Kindergarten teacher is a must, ideally in a Sessional Community Kindergarten setting.

**Additional Requirements**

All Child Protection Training.
