ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Events Specialist, you’ll deliver a range of activities and events that enhance the value and experience of our members and provisional members. Working closely with the Member Engagement team and other stakeholders, you’ll help organise and promote events, support member groups, and contribute to initiatives that drive engagement and growth. You’ll also play a key role in sharing knowledge, identifying improvements, and ensuring our members feel connected and supported.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Plan, promote, and deliver member events and activities (in-person and online)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members and stakeholders
- Support local governance, member groups, and committees
- Manage event logistics, communications, and feedback
- Use digital tools and data to improve service and reporting
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the member experience
- Contribute to regional office plans and initiatives

ABOUT YOU
- Experience in event, service, or venue management (3-5 years preferred)
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable, solutions-focused, and willing to learn
- Confident communicator, both in person and online
- Comfortable using digital tools and managing multiple tasks
- Excellent time management skills—you can juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail—ensuring accuracy in event logistics, communications, and reporting
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable
