About the role
There are four Trade Coordinator positions (Building Services, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC/Fire). Each role is a hands-on trade role with added responsibility of supervising, coordinating and carrying out efficient and cost effective maintenance and minor new work within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS).
This role is responsible for hydraulic services at all facilities within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service.
About you
- Experience and knowledge relating to the nominated trade, as it relates to large, major health care facilities or similar facilities.
- Experience and ability to lead, supervise, motivate and develop a team of trade staff and service contractors to achieve positive client and work area outcomes.
- Understanding of the centrality of customers in a service industry with the ability to establish and maintain relationships, take ownership of and resolve issues to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to communicate well across all levels of an organisation, with a wide range of stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, consult, negotiate and provide authoritative information on matters relating to their field of expertise. Communication must demonstrate good judgement and problem solving skills.
- Ability to organise works tasks and projects independently, giving consideration to diverse priorities to meet deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
