We have Fulltime Permanent opportunities for skilled Trade Assistants, based primarily in Pinkenba. Working on the Wharf in Pinkenba, your role will see you assisting te tradesmen as they perform routine maintenance on the fixed / mobile plant, used as the primary labor and responding to changing needs at short notice.

**Environment & Remuneration**
- $32 per hour + Penalties + Shift loading where applicable
- **Permanent** **Position**;
- On the job training and upskilling;
- Based in Pinkenba, Brisbane;
- Monday - Friday; 7am-3pm (Roster flexibility required for when the ships come in);
**Job Requirements**
- Assisting Tradesmen onsite:

- Service, repair, labouring duties as directed by Supervisor;
- Operation of a Semi-Trailer (Willingness to obtain licence) to assist the team when discharging vessels;
- Assist the team when ships are discharging, either by trade support or relieving machinery operators on their breaks;
- Available to start ASAP;
- Occasional mobile plant operations.

**About You**
- Experience working on mobile plant equipment;
- Have strong communications skills and be able to follow instructions;
- Be able to take ownership of your role and work within a team environment;
- Be able to work under pressure to meet daily deadlines;
- Must be able to interpret drawings;
**Highly Beneficial**
- Forklift and license and experience (preferred or able to obtain)
- MSIC wharf access (preferred or able to obtain with police check)
- Truck License (HR preferred or able to obtain or upgrade)
