HYDAC, a major international manufacturer of Hydraulic Motion & Control solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive **Purchasing & Logistics Assistant** to join our Melbourne Logistics team at Head Office in Altona North.

**About the Role**

In this key position, you will manage the end-to-end procurement and logistics process, ensuring materials are sourced efficiently and delivered in a timely, cost-effective manner to meet business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**- Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring prompt order confirmations from suppliers.- Review and resolve order confirmations to align with company requirements.- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure **on-time, cost-effective delivery of supplies**.- Process shipments in the system and forward invoices to Accounts.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented professional with:
**Strong analytical and problem-solving skills** to track and expedite orders to meet deadlines.**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills** to liaise effectively with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams.**A proactive and self-driven approach**, with the ability to work independently.- Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel and ERP systems**.- A background of at least 2~3 years in **import logistics and purchasing** is highly advantageous.
